Contact person on quotes and invoices

Pick a person as the recipient of your quote or invoice — the company details and the company address come along automatically, even when the person has no address of their own.

  • Pick a person as the recipient — company details come along automatically. When you select a contact person as the customer on a quote or invoice, the linked company now appears automatically as a header line above the name. If the person has no address of their own, the company's address is used — so the recipient block is never blank. If the person does have their own address, that one still wins.

  • Switch between "To company" and "To private person". For a person with a linked company you can now choose, per document, who it is addressed to. "To company" (the default) carries the company name, company address and VAT ID; "To private person" addresses the person only — no company line and no company address.

  • The linked company is visible right in the customer picker. In the customer field's search, every person now shows its linked company as a secondary line, so you can see at a glance that you can pick the person and the company comes with it.

  • Preview and PDF match exactly. The address preview in the editor now shows the same lines that end up on the finished document — including the company line and the inherited company address.
