Inserting items and moving them between sections — no more aiming

The “+” for inserting between two items now appears as soon as your mouse is in the section, and any item can be moved to another section straight from its menu.

Improved

  • The “+” between two items is finally findable. To insert an item in the middle, your mouse previously had to hit a strip a few pixels tall exactly between two rows — in practice nobody ever found the feature. The “+” symbols now appear as soon as your mouse is anywhere in the section, and stand out once you aim at one.
  • Move an item to another section without dragging. An item's menu (the three dots at the end of the row) now offers “Move to section”, listing every section in the document plus “No section”. The item lands at the end of the section you pick. On long documents this replaces dragging across twenty rows; drag-and-drop keeps working exactly as before.
