Optional items no longer count toward the total

The total in the app now matches the number on the document you send — optional items are still listed with their price, they just aren't added up.

Improved

  • App and document now show the same total. Optional items were never part of the total on the finished quote, but the app counted them anyway. If you work with a lot of options, the overview showed a much higher number than the document your client was holding. Both numbers now agree.

  • Options stay visible, they just don't add up. An optional item still appears in the item list with its price. It no longer feeds the document's net, gross, tax or discount — nor the tax rate of a deposit invoice.

  • Revenue reports leave options out. Revenue, event margins, category and location reports used to count optional items as revenue even though the client never ordered them. Those figures get lower and more trustworthy.

  • Open drafts were corrected once. Existing drafts now carry the right total. Documents you have already issued and sent are untouched — their number was correct from the start.
