New "Product kind" block in the master data. All type settings now sit in one place inside the product: the base type (goods, service, digital) as a dropdown, plus one switch each for "Is a rental product" and "Is produced in the kitchen". Until now the type was frozen after creation — a recipe accidentally created as goods had to be re-entered from scratch.
Combinations are preserved. The settings are deliberately separate switches instead of a single choice: a service can also be a rental, a recipe can also be a bundle. Changing one axis leaves the others untouched, and existing data (ingredients, stock, components) is never lost — it is only shown or hidden depending on the type.
The rental switch moved. It now lives in the master data instead of alone in the "Availability" section. The lead and buffer days stay where they belong — with availability.
Bundles form themselves. "Is a bundle" is no longer a separate switch: as soon as a product gets its first component, it automatically becomes a bundle.
Confirmation when switching to rental. Because stock counts differently for rentals — it represents the total quantity you own and is never consumed — a dialog asks for the total stock before the switch. If the leftover stock from its time as a regular product stayed in that field, availability would permanently calculate with too few units. Products without stock tracking stay unlimited.
