- Long text no longer aborts the import. An import of events, contacts or inventory could crash completely if the first row of the file was a long description instead of a column header, or if a single cell held a long note. Such cells are now capped cleanly and the import carries on as usual.
- Special characters arrive intact. In some CSV files, German umlauts were imported as garbled characters — in product categories, for example. The character encoding of such files is now detected correctly, so ä, ö, ü and ß land in the system unchanged. This also applies to files uploaded during onboarding.
- A warning when the tax-rate column is missing. In the product import, every product was silently created with 19% VAT whenever the tax-rate column was not recognised — which produced wrong prices for food at 7%. The "map columns" step now shows a warning before that happens. On top of that, more common column names are recognised automatically, including Steuer, Mehrwertsteuer, Umsatzsteuer and Tax.
