New booking page design: Location first

Customers pick their location first — the booking page then only shows the products that are actually offered there.

New

  • "Location first" design. For businesses running several locations on one booking page there is now a fourth page design: In the first step your customers pick guest count and location, then the date. Locations whose capacity is too small are greyed out automatically.

  • Product catalogue matching the location. The booking step only shows products that are available at the chosen location — plus everything you offer everywhere. No more wrong combinations or manual sorting.

  • Link type "Required" or "Available". Product-location links now carry a type: Required products (e.g. room rental) are added to the booking automatically when the location is chosen — as before. New is Available: the product can be booked at that location but is not added automatically. Configurable in the location editor and on the product.

Good to know

Existing booking pages are unchanged — the new behaviour only applies to pages using the "Location first" design. All existing product-location links keep their previous behaviour (type "Required"). If a customer switches location mid-booking, products that are no longer available are removed from the cart with a notice.
