The assistant now knows package quantities, every placeholder, and more routes through the app

Questions about what a package is made of, which placeholders exist, and how to get to templates, the function sheet or the seating plan are now answered from your real data.

New

  • “What is this package made of?” The assistant now shows the components of a package or recipe together with their quantities — including packages that themselves contain packages. It explicitly states whether a quantity is fixed or grows with the guest count, the hours or the kilometres. Until now it had no data source for this question and had to decline.

  • “Which placeholders are there?” The assistant now reads the very same placeholder list Univents uses when generating your PDFs, and explains what each name means. For email templates it names the variables of that particular template. And it says honestly that you cannot create placeholders of your own — pointing you to the ten free-text fields per layout instead.

  • More destinations for “take me to …”. The assistant now jumps straight to your templates, the email templates, the PDF layouts, the schedule templates, the payment reconciliation, and to the seating plan and function sheet of an event. Previously these terms quietly landed you on the start page.

  • Three new help articles. Newly added are “Placeholders: which exist and where they apply”, “Creating an additional workspace” and “Changing or resetting your password”.

Fixed

  • Number ranges: the help article is now correct. It described a number format containing the year, which is not what gets assigned. Out of the box Univents assigns eight-digit numbers without a year, such as RE00000001. The article now also explains when an invoice number comes into existence, why gaps in the sequence are intended and harmless for your bookkeeping, and which of the two fields makes a later prefix change actually take effect.
