The calendar now tells you when your match is elsewhere. The calendar always shows exactly the period you have open, so a search only reached that far. Anyone typing the name of an event that doesn't take place until next year got an empty calendar and had to assume the event didn't exist. Now, as soon as your search has matches outside the period shown, it says so right above the calendar.
One click to all matches. Next to the note sits a button that opens the same search in the Season view — there it runs across your entire set of events, regardless of the date. The button tells you up front how many events are waiting for you.
Nothing changes without a search. The note only appears while a search term is active and something really does lie outside. Day to day, the calendar stays as quiet as before.
