Function sheet shows the current price

After a quantity or price change the function sheet still showed the amount from when the position was created. Plus a clearer button for new positions and a readable notice in the PDF preview.

Fixed

  • The function sheet now works the amounts out for itself. If you changed the quantity or the price of a booking position, the function sheet kept the amount the position was originally created with — even after “Regenerate”. The bookings tab had long been showing the right figure while the sheet next to it showed an old one; anyone costing from it, or showing it to a customer, was working with the wrong number. Unit price, line amount, subtotals and total now come from the current price times the quantity shown on that same row. Positions carried over from the old system deliberately keep their original amount.
  • The PDF preview explains itself instead of printing an error. If a document was edited after its PDF had been created, the preview button stayed put but the preview window then showed nothing but a technical snippet of text. It now shows a sentence in plain language plus a button to create the PDF again.

New

  • The button for new positions now reads “Add items”. The bookings tab simply said “Item”, which gave no clue what it did.
