Setting “Create new function sheets as”. Under Settings → Layouts → Function Sheets you choose between Live layout and Free document. With a live layout, every new sheet updates itself with the event’s data; you add your own text through the free texts. With a free document, a new sheet is created straight away as a document you can write in freely, removing or adding sections – like before. No more detour via “Edit as free document” for every new sheet.
Applies to every route without an explicit layout choice. The setting is used by the Create Function Sheet button in the event, by creating from the document list and by the AI chat. If you pick a layout from the arrow next to the button or an automation creates the sheet, it is still a live layout.
The default stays Live layout; existing sheets do not change.
