Schedule with day headings and surcharges on the booking page

Multi-day schedules in quotes now print a heading per day on the new engine; layouts on the previous engine still show the date on every line. On the booking page, several questions for the same product now split the quantity per question, and surcharges on a dropdown are calculated and shown.

New

  • Day headings in the schedule. When a schedule spans several days (for example delivery the day before), the schedule placeholder in a quote prints a heading per day (“18.01.”) on the new engine, with the items below showing only the time, no date; a blank line separates the days. Single-day schedules look as before. Layouts on the previous engine still print the date on every line — to get the headings, switch the layout to the new engine (the “Previous engine” badge on the layout card in the document or in the template settings, where you switch it to the new engine) or pick a layout with the new engine for the document.

Fixed

  • Surcharges split per question. When several selection questions are attached to the same product (for example starter, main course, dessert), each question now splits the line item’s quantity only among its own selected answers — with 50 people and 2 chosen main courses that is 25 each, with 1 chosen starter it is 50. Before, the quantity was split across all questions together (50 people across 5 chosen answers ⇒ 10 each), so surcharges came out too low.
  • Surcharge on a dropdown. A surcharge on an answer in a dropdown (a single answer) is now calculated: it appears next to the answer (“+8.50 €”) and shows up in the cart, at checkout and in the inquiry. Before, a surcharge on a dropdown was never calculated. As before, a surcharge only applies to answers with a linked product, and only on booking pages that show prices.
  • Clear message for an email already in use. When you add or edit a staff member with an email address that another staff member in the workspace already has, the dialog now says so at the email field instead of just “Saving failed”.
