Shift plan, access and layouts: inquiries, invitations, alignment

The shift plan marks open inquiries more clearly, Access shows expired invitations with fitting actions, and the recipient block, the credit note and the template-upload hint are worded more clearly.

New

  • Inquiries are recognisable as inquiries in the shift plan. When the shift plan shows an event that is still an open inquiry and not yet confirmed in the workflow, its shift now carries a small Inquiry badge — in the legend, in the filter chips, and on every shift in the week and month view. Once the event is confirmed, the badge disappears so a fixed date never looks like an open inquiry. The shifts stay visible as before.

  • Expired invitations are visible and get fitting actions. Under Personal → Access there is now an Expired invitations section showing the date each invitation expired. For staff invitations, as the owner you can use Resend invitation or remove the invitation. Admin invitations are removed and invited again — that shows you whether the seat costs extra. Only people who may manage invitations see this section.

Fixed

  • An empty shift plan looks tidy again. In a week without shifts the header now always sits in the same place as usual and there is exactly one + New shift button. Before, there were two, in different places — depending on whether the week was empty or not.

  • The recipient block follows the address alignment. When the recipient sits alone in its row, the block now also follows the top Alignment switch (centre or right). Before, only Block alignment had an effect there, and the top switch looked as if it did nothing. If block alignment is set explicitly, that still wins.

  • A clear hint when uploading a template on the new engine. If a layout prints through the new engine, the hint when uploading a docx template now says plainly that changes to the file only take effect once you adopt them in the editor or switch back to the previous engine — with a button straight into the editor. The message after the upload also states what gets printed, and the texts around switching are clearer.

  • The credit note no longer shows an empty refund date. In the new invoice layouts, cancellation credit notes have no payment due date, but the refund sentence expected one and printed “by to the account on file”. The sentence now appears without a date in all eight languages. Existing credit notes and Word templates are not affected.

  • Resending an invitation works again. Since early October the button did nothing — the invitation stayed expired and no email went out. Now the invited person gets a fresh invitation with a link again.

  • Salutation and VAT ID follow the recipient. In the new standard layouts the cover letter greeting now follows the contact person: with a stored salutation it reads “Dear Ms. …” or “Dear Mr. …”, and a company without a contact person gets “Dear Sir or Madam” — instead of a fixed “Dear …” with the customer name. The VAT ID line also only appears when a VAT ID is stored for the customer.

  • The event configurator says why submitting did not work. If submitting the planning failed, the button used to stay on “Sending …” or only a generic sentence appeared. Now the page states the reason, such as an expired editing deadline or that changes are not being accepted right now, and the button is free again right away.
