One click, the right editor. Click a layout under Settings › Templates and you now land exactly where you can actually change it: layouts using the new rendering open the layout editor, layouts using the previous rendering open the familiar form with colours, margins and the Word template.
No more pop-up in between. Until now a small window with the layout list slid over the page — the very list you had just left. That window is gone; layout management opens as a normal page.
In the quote, the button matches the layout. On the layout card inside a document, layouts using the new rendering still offered “Edit colours and margins”, even though there was nothing to change there. It now reads “Edit layout” and takes you to the layout editor.
