Manage customer portal access yourself

Create access, copy the link, send an invitation, or issue a new one — right on the customer card of an event. Plus: sharing from the schedule detail page, and function sheets in your content language.

New

  • Manage customer portal access yourself. Until now your client's portal link only came into existence as a side effect — when you sent them a document. Without a sent quote or invoice there was simply no way to let anyone into the portal. Inside an event under Overview, the Customer card now carries a Customer portal section: create access with Create access, see the full portal address, copy it, open the portal in a new tab, and send the invitation with Send invitation. The invitation button creates the access along the way if there isn't one yet.

  • Issue a new portal link when the old one has gone astray. The circular arrow in the same section replaces the link. You get a confirmation first, because the current link stops working immediately — including the one the client already has by email. After that they can only get back in once you send them the new link. If the client has no email address on file, the section states that reason instead of offering a button that could only fail.

  • Share a schedule straight from the plan detail page. Sharing used to work only from the card in the schedule overview — even though creating a plan drops you on its detail page. That page now has a Share button too, next to a badge reading either "Not shared" or "Shared with N person(s)" that opens the same dialog.

  • Function sheets and notifications speak your content language. Function sheets and in-app notifications now follow the Content language from your settings instead of a fixed language. Push messages on your phone follow the language of the device you enabled them on.

One note on existing function sheets: the wording of a function sheet is fixed at the moment it is generated. Sheets you generated earlier therefore keep their original language — only the ones you generate from now on are translated.
