Purchase price survives picking a product. When you pick a product on a line of a quote, invoice or delivery note — from the search box or from the catalog browser — the line now reliably adopts that product's purchase price. Until now the field was often left empty: the picker only read the old cost field, not the purchase price you maintain in your inventory. Any product whose cost lives solely under Purchase price was affected, which covers everything created since the beginning of September. The line's contribution margin came out too high by the full purchase amount, with nothing to flag it.
Existing documents are left untouched. We are not backfilling purchase prices into lines that were already written — that would change documents you have long since reviewed. If you spot an older line without a purchase price, pick its product once more and the value follows.
