Every event now gets a project number automatically

Every event receives a sequential project number like P-2026-014 when it is created – already when an inquiry arrives. You see it on the event, find events and inquiries by it in search, and print it on documents, function sheets, the production list and supplier orders.

New

  • A number from the inquiry on. Every event automatically gets a sequential project number in the format P-2026-014 as soon as it is created – for an inquiry, that means right when it arrives. Numbering restarts at 001 every year in each workspace, and from the 1,000th event on the number simply gets longer (P-2026-1000). The number cannot be changed by hand. When you copy an event or create a recurring series, every date gets a new number. Event templates have no number until a real event is created from them.

  • Visible on the event. The project number is shown at the very top of the event page, to the left of the status, and in the card for the next event in the season list. Older events receive their number with a one-time conversion; until then, the previous short code is shown there.

  • Find it with search. In the search field of the event overview (list, calendar, timeline) and in the search for inquiries (inbox, Kanban, list), you can find events by the full project number or a part of it, for example 2026-014. The AI assistant also finds events by project number.

  • Placeholder for documents and function sheets. Use {event_project_number} to print the project number on quotes, invoices, delivery notes and credit notes (Word and HTML layouts) as well as in your function sheet layouts.

  • Production list and supplier orders. The production list shows the number in the header after the event name, for example “Summer party · P-2026-014”. In the order to suppliers, the email has a Project number row, and the PDF shows the number next to the event name.
