Recurring tasks, deleting from the overview and declining without an email

Tasks now repeat on their own, “Assign to me” saves searching for yourself, you delete events straight from the overview, show or hide item descriptions per item, and decide whether the customer gets a rejection email when you decline an inquiry.

New

  • Recurring tasks: In the task dialog, choose under Repeat how often a task comes back – daily, weekdays (Mon to Fri), weekly or monthly. When you complete it, Univents creates the next one right away: same title, same assigned people and tags, due on the next date in the series from today – so a task left lying doesn't create a new one that's already overdue. Only one next task is ever created, even if you accidentally tick it off twice. In the list, recurring tasks carry a small circular arrow.
  • Assign to me: Above the people picker in the task dialog, Assign to me adds you as assigned with one click.
  • Delete an event from the overview: In the Season view, every row has a ⋯ menu with Delete – with the same confirmation as inside the event. Issued invoices or sent quotes still prevent the deletion, and the dialog names them.
  • Item description per item: Below an item's description field, Description in PDF lets you choose whether it's printed – as set for the document, always or never. So you can show the description on the menu but not on tableware and staff, even if the document otherwise hides item descriptions.
  • Declining without an email: When you decline an inquiry, the checkbox Send rejection email to the customer decides whether your customer gets a rejection. It's ticked and shows the recipient address. This applies in the inbox, in the inquiry detail, on your phone and now also when you drag a card into the Rejected column – Univents now asks first instead of declining right away.
  • Help for projects without an event: The task help now explains how to organize tasks without an event as projects using tags and save the filter as your own view.
  • The AI assistant keeps up: It creates recurring tasks and shows or hides an item's description. It only declines an inquiry after you confirm, and sends a rejection email only if you explicitly say so.
