Outlook and Google appointments show as “Busy” in the calendar

Appointments from your venues’ calendars now appear in the events calendar, without titles. Deleting in Outlook no longer deletes the event.

New

  • “Busy” from Outlook and Google. Appointments from the calendars you have assigned to a venue under Integrations → Calendar now appear in the events calendar as a grey, hatched “Busy” block — with the time and the name of the venue. The connection’s default calendar and personal calendars are left out, and titles and details stay private. While planning you can see at a glance when a room is already booked, without checking your calendar separately. If a calendar can’t be read right now, the legend below the calendar says so — a gap then doesn’t automatically mean “free”. Events that Univents itself transfers to the calendar do not show up twice. This works in the month, week and day views; in the month view each day shows at most two blocks, the rest as “+N busy”.

Fixed

  • Deleting in Outlook no longer deletes the event. If the copy of an event was deleted directly in Outlook or Google, the event used to disappear from the overview in Univents as well. It now stays; the next time you change the event, Univents creates the copy in the calendar again.
