Fixed
- An expired sign-in now takes you cleanly to the sign-in page. If your session had already been renewed in another tab, an open tab could get stuck in a loop and keep you from signing in for minutes. You now land on the sign-in page once and can sign straight back in. If the sign-in service is briefly overloaded, you see a notice and the page reloads by itself instead of signing you out.
- The inventory page loads even with very large catalogues. With several thousand items the page could load for minutes and then give up. Availability is now worked out in a single pass, and for businesses with a great many bookings it counts every reserved quantity again. Before, some reservations could be missing.
- Overbooking warnings in the event overview for large businesses too. When the events on one overview page had a very large number of positions between them, the overview stopped flagging overbooked rental items, even though the document showed the warning correctly. The overview and the document now agree.
- The event overview with a saved default view now opens in a new tab too. If you had saved a view as your default and opened the overview directly (new tab, bookmark, reload), you sometimes got an error page instead of the filtered list. The default view is now applied before the page loads.
- After an update, an open tab reloads once instead of getting stuck. If you left Univents open overnight, our evening update could leave you on an error page, because parts of the old version were no longer available. The tab now reloads once by itself.
- A clear message for an invalid email address in Staff. When you edit a person in Staff, an incomplete email address is now flagged right at the field instead of saving failing with a generic error.
- Free-text fields from adopted templates. In the layout editor only free-text fields 1 to 10 can be named. For a higher field from an adopted Word template, the editor now says so plainly instead of failing with a generic error.
