Deleting now needs the delete permission. In a few areas the view permission was enough to delete entries: products, locations and location groups, events, contracts and contract templates, schedules, function sheets, staff templates and line items in quotes and invoices. From now on, the “Delete” setting of the role applies everywhere — in the app, in the AI assistant and through the Claude connection. Line items in documents can be removed by anyone who may edit Finance.
Archiving staff members needs the delete permission in Staff. Archiving takes a person out of every list, so it now follows the same permission as deleting.
A clear message instead of an error. If the permission is missing, the app says so. Where the role does not allow it, the delete and archive buttons are hidden.
Time tracking in the AI assistant only for your own staff. The assistant now starts, stops and records time only for people in your own workspace.
Nothing changes for owners and for admins without a restricted role.
