Manage tags in one place: rename, merge, delete

Under Settings → Tags you see every tag with where it is used, can rename, merge and delete tags, and get duplicate spellings like “St. Gallen” and “St.Gallen” suggested for merging.

New

  • All tags in one place. Settings → Tags lists every tag in your workspace. Below each tag you see where it is used: on events, contacts, products, booking pages, inquiries and venues, in roles, email templates and automations.
  • Renaming applies everywhere. A new name shows up in every place right away, including venues, inquiries, email templates and saved views. Changing only the spelling, for example from “wedding” to “Wedding”, works too.
  • Merge. Merge two tags for the same term with one click. Everything that carried one of them carries the other one afterwards, including roles, staff portal restrictions and automations.
  • Possible duplicates. Tags that only differ in spaces, punctuation, accents or upper and lower case are suggested for merging, with the most used one preselected.
  • Deleting with a safety net. Before deleting you see where the tag is used. If a role would suddenly see all events without it, or an email template would apply to everything, Univents does not delete it and tells you what to adjust first.
  • In the AI assistant too. The assistant shows you tags and possible duplicates, creates and renames tags. You confirm merging and deleting on a card first.

Managing tags is available to everyone who can manage roles, usually the owner. Everyone else sees the list for reference.
