The quote email can now also come from the quote’s account manager

If an event has no project planner and no enquiry handler with an enabled mailbox, the quote email now goes out from the personal mailbox of the account manager set on the quote. This also works for quotes without an event. Included in the Enterprise plan.

New

  • The account manager on the quote now counts as its handler. The quote email can go out from the handler’s personal mailbox. Until now, only the event’s project planner and the enquiry’s handler qualified. Now the account manager set on the quote itself is added as a third step: if the project planner and the enquiry handler have no enabled mailbox or aren’t set at all, the email goes out from the account manager’s mailbox. This covers the initial send, the follow-up, and the email for an expired quote.
  • Quotes without an event, too. Through the account manager on the quote, quotes without an event can now go out from a personal mailbox as well.
  • Unchanged: only people who are members of the workspace and have ticked “Use as the sender for my quotes and events” on their own personal mailbox ever send. Without that tick, nothing changes. If a quote should come from someone else, pick a different account manager on the quote — this applies as long as the event has no project planner or enquiry handler with an enabled mailbox, because they come first. Included in the Enterprise plan.
