Personal salutation in emails. Your email templates now offer
{{customer_salutation}}for the complete salutation, plus{{customer_first_name}}and{{customer_last_name}}.{{customer_salutation}},becomes, for example, “Dear Mr. Smith,” or “Dear Dr. Miller,” when the email is sent. If the email goes to a company, its main contact person is addressed; if no person is known, it reads “Dear Sir or Madam,”. German templates get “Sehr geehrter Herr …”. The salutation is the same as in the document PDF.The responsible person signs. In emails about quotes, invoices, payment reminders, cancellations and order confirmations,
{{sender_name}}now names the document's account manager — even when the email is sent in the background. If the quote email goes out from the responsible person's own mailbox, that person signs.Elements land on the page you are looking at. In the layout editor, text, image, shape, table and all other tools now place their new element on the page that is currently in view — no longer invisibly on a page you scrolled away from just because something was selected there last.
Drag elements to another page. Drag an image or any other free element over another sheet and let go, and it moves there. The target page is highlighted while you drag, and undo brings it back. Drop it next to the sheet and it stays at the edge of its page instead of disappearing.
Drop an image file onto an empty spot. Drag an image file onto an empty spot on a sheet and a new image appears right there. Dropped onto an existing image, the file replaces it as before.
