Revenue per Month (12-Month Chart)
After reading this, you will be able to read gross revenue for the last 12 months as a bar chart and capture total revenue at a glance.
The Revenue per Month report shows you gross revenue per calendar month as a bar chart for the last twelve months. Directly above it you see the summed total revenue for that period as a single key figure.
Opening the report
- Navigate to Berichte in the left-hand menu.
- Click the Umsatz pro Monat card in the reports overview.
- The page loads immediately without any filter input, as the time range is fixed to the last 12 months.
What you see
At the top you will find a KPI card labelled Gesamtumsatz letzte 12 Monate. It sums the gross revenue of all twelve displayed months into a single Euro amount.
Below it is the bar chart itself. Each bar represents one calendar month. The horizontal axis shows the month label; the vertical axis shows revenue in euros (compact format, e.g. "50,000"). Hovering over a bar opens a tooltip with the exact Euro amount for that month.
If no data exists for the covered period, the chart displays the message "Keine Daten für den gewählten Zeitraum." instead of an empty diagram.
Time range
The report always covers the last 12 months up to today and updates automatically each day. There is no manual date selection in this view. If you need a freely selectable date range or a tabular breakdown, use the Umsatz nach Zeitraum report instead.
Back to the reports overview
Click Zurück zu Berichten in the top left to return to the reports overview and open a different report.
Frequently asked questions
Why are individual months missing from the chart? A month without a bar means no invoiced bills were present in that month. Credit notes or cancelled documents do not count as revenue.
Which documents are included in revenue? Only invoices are counted — no quotes, delivery notes, or credit notes. The displayed value therefore reflects actual billed revenue.
I need a breakdown by category or customer. Use the Umsatz nach Kategorie and Top-Kunden reports from the reports overview for that.
