Why teams choose Univents

1

my-venue stops at booking, quote and invoice. Univents keeps planning from there: shifts with time tracking, production and packing lists, kitchen monitor, inventory and supplier orders — plus function sheets that exist today instead of sitting in the Premium plan marked “coming soon”.

2

At my-venue, contract generation (€75/month), the list calendar (€30/month), the extended event export (€45/month) and every further write seat (€35/month) are paid add-ons — and the entry plan ships with a single write seat, three rooms and 100 events a year. With Univents, contracts, templates, reporting and your whole team are part of the plan.

3

Univents gives customers more than a PDF in their inbox: a customer portal with its own login, digital signature and online payment through the built-in Stripe integration. my-venue emails quotes and invoices — signing and paying happen elsewhere.

4

Univents ships an AI assistant that operates the app by chat, builds quotes from PDFs and reads your connected mailbox. my-venue's feature set does not include an AI assistant.

5

You can try Univents yourself right away — 7 days free, no credit card. my-venue sets up its 14-day trial account only after a scheduled call.

Three plans, all excluding VAT: Essential €99/month, Business €249/month, Premium €459/month when billed yearly (€129 / €299 / €529 billed monthly). The plans are capped — Essential at 100 events a year, 3 rooms, 1 price list and 1 user with write access, Business at 250 events, 10 rooms and 3 write seats; Premium lifts the caps and includes 10 write seats. Add-ons cost extra: every further write seat €35, list calendar €30, contract generation €75, extended event export €45 and self-hosting €199 per month; each additional location gets 25 % off the plan. Setup and data migration are billed at €99/hour, training at €99/hour online or €129/hour on site. A 14-day trial account is set up by my-venue after a scheduled call.

FAQ: Univents vs my-venue

Is my-venue a good Univents alternative?

For venues whose work ends with room bookings, quotes and invoices, my-venue is a clean Austrian option with a very well thought-out booking calendar. As soon as kitchen and production, staff and shifts, inventory or a customer portal come into play, its scope ends — that is where Univents starts.

What does my-venue cost?

my-venue lists three plans: Essential at €99, Business at €249 and Premium at €459 per month billed yearly, or €129, €299 and €529 billed monthly (all excluding VAT). Contract generation, the list calendar, the extended event export, self-hosting and every additional write seat cost extra; setup, data migration and training are billed by the hour.

Does my-venue offer staff scheduling and function sheets?

Staff can be created as a resource and assigned to an event, but shift planning with availability, confirmations and time tracking is not part of it. Function sheets are listed in the Premium plan as “coming soon”. Univents ships both today, including an employee portal and payroll export.

Does my-venue meet e-invoicing requirements?

Yes — from the Business plan my-venue produces XRechnung as CII XML and ZUGFeRD/Factur-X as a hybrid PDF, validated with the KOSIT validator, plus exports to BMD, CSV and optionally SAP. Univents covers e-invoicing as well and adds the entire operation that follows the signed quote.
