Print or export your item list
After reading this, you'll be able to print your items with price, tax rate and description (respecting the current filters and sort order) or download them as an Excel file.
Want to check your master data — prices, tax rates and descriptions at a glance? In Inventory → Catalog there are two ways: a print view and an Excel export.
Print the list
- Open Inventory and stay on the Catalog tab.
- Set up the list the way you want it printed: search, categories, tags, item type and the sort order next to the filters.
- Click Print list next to the sort order. Your browser's print dialog opens — you can also choose “Save as PDF” there.
The printout contains exactly the list you see on screen — same filters, same order. The header shows the number of items, the sort order, active filters and the print date.
For each item the sheet shows: name with its description underneath, item number, category, unit, price net, price gross and tax rate. If an item is managed by gross price, the gross price you entered stays unchanged.
Export to Excel
Click Export products at the top right. You get an Excel file with all items in your workspace — regardless of the filters in the list. It contains item number, name, description, category, type, unit, price (net), tax rate, revenue account, cost center, debit/credit account and supplier item number.
- The description is written as plain text (no formatting).
- The columns match the product import: you can add accounts and upload the file again (see Import products).
- The button only appears if your role has the Export data permission.
Good to know
- Need a filtered or sorted list as a file? Print it and choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog.
- If the list shows a notice that not all items were loaded, narrow it down by category or tag first.
