Help, feedback and roadmap: the direct line to us

After this article you know the four ways to get help and give us feedback in Univents: the Help button, the bug-report button, the path from the AI chat into the support team, and the roadmap where you vote on what comes next.

A lot is explained by the AI assistant right inside the tool. Sometimes it is simply nicer to talk to a human — or you know best yourself what should be built next. For all three cases Univents has a route of its own, and you never have to leave the application for it.

The video shows how to report a bug, send feedback, hand off from the AI chat to support and vote for ideas on the roadmap.

You’ll find the individual steps written out below as well.

The Help button

The Help button sits in the left navigation. It opens the How can I help you? dialog with three tiles:

  • Get help in the tool — the AI assistant answers your question instantly. It knows your events, your team and your inquiries, and can take you straight to the right place.
  • Open documentation — the public help site with step-by-step guides for every feature. It opens in a new tab, so your work stays where it is.
  • Talk to the team — the way to support: our team gets back to you.

Reporting a bug and sending feedback

In the bottom right corner of every page sits a round button with a megaphone. One click takes a screenshot of the page automatically and opens the report window. There you choose what it is about: Bug, Feedback or Question.

That is the fastest way to reach us, because your report arrives with a screenshot and the page context — we do not have to ask where exactly you were. Before sending you can mark up the screenshot: draw a frame around the spot that is wrong, or black out something that is nobody's business. Instead of typing, you can also speak your report into the microphone.

The button is available in the employee portal as well. Your team can report bugs themselves, without going through you.

How the report window works in detail — marking up, blacking out, speaking, sending — is described in Reporting a bug and sending feedback — with a screenshot or by voice.

From the AI chat straight to the support team

If you are chatting with the AI assistant and its answers do not get you anywhere, you do not have to retype the conversation. The chat has a Forward to support button: the conversation so far travels with your request to our team, and you hear back once we have answered.

That way support sees immediately where things are stuck instead of starting from scratch. If sending fails, Univents opens your email program with the conversation as text instead — so your request is not lost.

Roadmap: vote on what comes next

You know best what you are missing in your daily work. That is exactly what the Roadmap is for — open it from the left navigation. The board shows which items are in which state right now:

  • Open — the suggestion is in.
  • Under Review — we are actively looking at it.
  • Planned — it is earmarked for implementation.
  • In Progress — it is being built right now.
  • Live — it is finished and available to you.

If you find an idea that is already yours, vote for it with Vote instead of submitting it twice; afterwards the button reads Voted. The search field and filters narrow the board down to the topic you care about, and Your submissions keeps track of your own entries.

If your item is still missing, submit it with Submit a request and pick its Type: Feature, Improvement, Bug or Question. We review every entry — and the more votes a request has, the more it influences the order.

How to submit, comment on and vote for entries in detail is described in Roadmap & Submitting Feature Requests.
