Team activity
After reading this, you'll know how to review calls and sent emails per person over a period in the Team activity report, who is allowed to see it, and how clicking a phone number prefills the log-call dialog.
The Team activity report shows you, per person and for a chosen period, how many calls were logged and how many emails were sent. See at a glance who was most active in customer contact.
Open the report
- Go to Reports in the left menu.
- Click the Team activity card in the hub.
- The report loads with a default period of the last twelve months.
The card only appears if you are allowed to see it — see Who can see the report below.
Reading the table
At the top, Univents shows three tiles: People, Total calls and Total emails. The table below lists one row per person:
| Column | Content |
|---|---|
| # | Rank |
| Person | The user's name |
| Calls | Number of calls logged in the period |
| Emails | Number of emails sent in the period |
| Total | Sum of calls and emails |
Click a column header to sort. Below the table there is a permanent note: calls only count manually logged calls — there is no automatic call tracking. If there is no activity in the period, the report shows the message “No activity in the period.” instead of a table full of zeros.
Adjust the period
Top right you'll find the From and To date fields. The numbers update server-side as soon as you change the period.
Log a call in one click
When you click a phone number on a contact or in the inbox, the prefilled Log call dialog opens alongside the call: contact, direction (outbound) and start time (now) are already set. You only add duration, outcome and a note if needed, then save. The call then shows up in the report without you opening the dialog by hand.
Who can see the report
The report is a management tool and therefore not visible to every member. It is visible to owners and to roles with the View team activity permission (the same permission as for the activity log). Without that permission neither the card in Reports nor the page itself appears.
Frequently asked questions
Why are fewer emails counted than I expect? Emails counted are those attributed to a person. Emails sent automatically by the system (e.g. via the Univents sender address) have no person and are therefore not counted.
Why does a person show as “Unknown”? This happens when activity comes from someone who is no longer a member of the workspace.
Why are so few calls counted? Only manually logged calls count. Use the log-call dialog (see above) so calls appear in the report.
